Years of hard work by many community stakeholders and state leaders, and a foundation of well-trained labor brought Braidy Industries to our region.

The growth of public institutions like ACTC out on the Industrial Parkway, and a core of highly skilled workers were a big part of making this possible.

We must remember: there is no silver bullet.  Diversifying the economy of Eastern Kentucky is incredibly important to creating new and better jobs.  I believe that starts with supporting our small businesses here, and making a serious effort to help them compete with the big guys.
